Lilly Ridge General Baptist Church was organized in 1912.  The congregation first met in the old Lilly Ridge schoolhouse once located just east of the present church building.  The name of the ridge and schoolhouse came from a family named Lilly who were early settlers in the area and were said to have donated land for the school and a cemetery in 1879.

 

The first church building was constructed in 1951 on property donated by the Adamson family.  Since that time two additional buildings have been added on each end of the original sanctuary,  One is now a spacious fellowship hall and the other a sanctuary with seating for over 300.

 

In January 2020 Bro. Davin Friend began serving as pastor of the church along with his wife, Kasey and their two sons.  You will find a warm welcome and a caring Christian family at Lilly Ridge General Baptist Church.
